Green tea appears in the highlighted ingredient list for Zencortex. The name alone does not specify the amount, extraction method or caffeine content. Those details matter when someone tries to apply general tea research to a particular supplement.

Beverage and extract are different preparations

NCCIH distinguishes green tea consumed as a beverage from supplement extracts. It notes caffeine-related considerations, interactions with certain medicines and uncommon liver injury reports, mainly involving extracts. This background does not establish a Zencortex-specific event rate. NCCIH: Green tea.

What to ask about the formula

Request the current panel and ask whether caffeine content is specified. If the product is described as stimulant-free, look for information that substantiates that statement rather than assuming it follows from a “natural” claim. Ask about the actual ingredient preparation instead of using beverage serving sizes as a comparison.

Also distinguish botanical presence from a proven hearing outcome. A study looking at a general metabolic marker cannot tell you whether the finished product changes a hearing measurement. The outcome and dose need to match.

How we report uncertainty

We have not independently measured the product’s caffeine content, extract concentration or purity. This page therefore does not supply guessed values. It provides questions to take to the seller and a professional who can assess the complete formula.

Read the safety overview for why a full panel is needed and the label guide for how to record the details.
